If you only have a few days free, and wish to spend it with someone you love, how fabulous to spend it with your loved one in the seclusion of the Platani Valley. Waking to the sunrise lighting up the bedroom through the floor to ceiling window and watching the sun set over the mountains through the full length windows in the lounge capturing all the beauty, silence and romance of the Sicilian countryside.

Whilst you are here you have access to our stunning 9 acres of land, filled with olive groves, fruit and citrus trees and our vegetable gardens - when things are in season you are welcome to come and pick the fruit and vegetables for your own delight.

Dependent on the season we can organise a trip to the olive press and maybe even a day to help locals to pick their olives. Or, if you want walking through local forests, horse riding or to visit a vineyard to sample our delicious local wines, we can arrange these for you. If you are looking for blue sea, white sand and (depending on the time of year) almost empty beaches, then we have these in abundance just 30 minutes away. If Ancient Greek or Roman architecture and archaeology are of interest, there are many incredible examples just a short drive away.
