After over a decade of hard work, the owner of the Zerko farm, has brought his project with the renovation of his eco vineyard cottage on his farm to a point where can finally share his happiness with his guests. This lovely vineyard cottage he built is located on a picturesque hill in the middle of the vineyard of the Dolenjska region (i.e. in southeastern Slovenia). Everything in this cottage here is really unique, and most of what you can see in the pictures is the work of this homeowner's hands. Aside from producing wine, the owner of this cottage also breeds sheep, which might greet you with their charming voices when you take a walk along the pastures. 🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑
Nearby there is a thermal spring, where you can bath even in winter, two spa centers with saunas and pools inside and outside, a mini ZOO, some churches (there’s a church on almost every hill here, and here’s one that even has a healing spring - a legend says that a blind girl healed her eyes by washing them there - and indeed, the water at that place is considered to be one of the most high quality waters in Slovenia), as well as many cycling and walking trails.

*Dogs are unfortunately not allowed inside here, but if you don’t like them to sleep outside, there’s a dog hotel in the village, which would host them over the night. (We do, however, already work on a project where dogs will be allowed. If everything goes according to the plan, that project will be finished next year. We'll definitely keep you up to speed with the development of that other project as well.)
