Indeed, HR managers are mainly responsible for hiring human talent, welcoming new people onboard, and resolving any employee conflicts should they arise. But in practice, the actual HR manager’s responsibilities go beyond that and embrace a whole range of activities that seem to have nothing to do with HR. Well, at first glance, at least. After all, creating a welcoming, professional environment that minimizes employee turnover is also up to the human resources department. And with the younger, more environmentally conscious workforce already becoming a prominent part of the workforce, companies should adopt and nurture more eco-friendly initiatives than ever before. The good news is that late millennials and early Zoomers do not need much encouragement to follow the company’s eco policies. The downside is that embracing green habits in the workplace is sometimes more challenging than it seems, considering that we still rely on too many materials that aren’t precisely planet-friendly. But small steps matter, too! And here are some top, easy-to-set-up examples of eco-sustainable habits HRs can (and should) nurture at work.

Make Recycling Simple and Accessible

It’s hard to avoid the temptation of throwing a plastic container in the general bin if your employees have to climb a few dozen stairs or go outside to reach the dedicated plastic disposal box. Don’t turn trash sorting into an impossible quest! Make sure your office has all the classic disposal containers — paper, plastic, unsorted organics — in the areas where they make the most sense. Obviously, it would be best if you started with the kitchen. But there could be other rooms, including common work areas, where the essential trashcan trinity can also be helpful.

Aim for a Paperless Office

Speaking of paper trashcans, you will not need too many of those if you manage to set up a fully (or almost) paperless office. It’s actually surprising how many companies in today’s digitalized world still print so much — notes, memos, announcements, invoices, contracts, etc. Eliminating all unnecessary paperwork — meaning, literal paperwork — and going all-docs-digital will simplify a lot of operations in the company, help sustain the environment, and may even save some money in the process.

Also, try to get rid of all paper cups and encourage your employees to go with reusable mugs and dishes. Printing mugs with corporate logos is not expensive but does wonders for the environment. If eliminating all paper and plastic cups is not an option, go for recyclable materials at least.

Reevaluate Your Energy Consumption

Another great way to both consider the environment and save money is to take a good critical look at your energy consumption. You can start with small things like energy-efficient lightbulbs and move on to more large-scale initiatives, like assessing all of your office electronics. Even major companies like Walmart are investing in energy-efficient refrigerators with low imprints on the environment, and we all know how successful they are! You can adopt a similar approach and start replacing old equipment with new, more eco- and energy-efficient one. Again, you can start small — electric kettles, coffee machines, water coolers, and office fridges. Eventually, you can opt for more significant and critical equipment — from office computers to air conditioning systems and thermostats.

Keep Carbon Imprint in Mind

If your company has any fleet vehicles, it makes sense to opt for electric models. While not exactly a way to minimize energy consumption, electric cars reduce our carbon imprint, which is way more important today. If you do not have any corporate vehicles, you probably still collaborate with companies that do — be it food delivery services or mail couriers.

To encourage a consistent eco-friendly strategy in the workplace, it’s essential to collaborate with agencies that make environmental initiatives their priority. It does not mean you should instantly sever all ties with your favorite Thai food chain simply because one courier drives an old wagon. But it would help if you kept searching for ways to ensure all parties in your supply and production chains mind the environment as much as you do — this will undoubtedly help send the right message to your colleagues.

Invest in Eco Infrastructure

It’s hard to nurture eco-friendly habits at work without the proper infrastructure. Just like you can’t expect people to sort the trash without providing them with suitable containers, you cannot expect them to ride a bike to work if there is no parking lot for bikes. Of course, designing such infrastructure is not the HR department’s sole responsibility— but neither is searching for eco-friendly suppliers or replacing energy-consuming equipment.

Still, it is up to HR managers to think of these initiatives and take them to the right executives who can implement the change. So, take a good look at how many people are taking carbon-free transport to work and think if there’s a way to encourage more colleagues to do the same, like setting up a larger bike parking lot, for starters. That’s not too expensive, but it definitely promotes the right message.

Get a Plant

Better yet — get more than one! It seems like a trifle thing to do, but even NASA researches prove that plants can remove plenty of indoor air pollutants, and NASA should definitely know what they are talking about. Sure, no one expects you to turn your open space office into an impenetrable jungle, but a few plants here and there can become an excellent decor addition while nurturing eco-friendly policies and sending the right message, of course.

Make It Fun!

Even though your Gen Y and Z employees are more than happy to support eco-friendly initiatives without much encouragement, adding a playful element to the whole process can be very helpful. Besides, it is vital to inform other less eco-conscious staff members about the importance of sustainable habits in the workplace. Just don’t turn it into a boring lecture about how icebergs are melting and polar bears are dying. This is tragic, of course, but it’s not the best way to reach your colleagues. Instead, think of something more creative, like a week without plastic challenge — not just at work, but also at home. Make it a competition with prizes, if necessary. Initiatives like these are excellent because they perfectly follow the ‘show, not tell’ principle and appeal to our competitive spirits, which is fun and motivating.

Eco-Friendly Habits in the Workplace:

These are some universal examples to get started with, but the actual list can go on for pages. Of course, a lot will depend on your company size and business specifics, and if you feel that you can do more — go ahead, the sky is the limit!

Portofino is a fishing village on the Ligurian Riviera, completely immersed in the Mediterranean scrub. Its uniqueness lies in the colorful houses nestled one against the other. Expensive shops and luxury yachts docked at the pier suggest its exclusivity. However, you can discover this location in an eco-friendly way by choosing to visit off-season on a day trip, perhaps reaching it on foot from Camogli.

Overview of Portofino Photo Canva Pro

When to go to Portofino

I advise against the summer period, which is full of tourists. In spring or autumn, you can better appreciate the landscape, avoiding overtourism. Usually, the climate is mild, allowing you to fully enjoy the beauties of Portofino without the crowds of mass tourism.

What to see in a day in Portofino? There are really many things to see, so arrive early and start the day soon!

My day trip to this pearl of Liguria, during my vacation in the Cinque Terre, starts from Piazza Martiri dell’Olivetta.

This square is the main square of Portofino and is also its symbol. Here you can find several beautiful restaurants with local specialties and fashionable boutiques located among the typical fishermen’s houses. I note that the name Martiri dell’Olivetta refers to the killing of 22 partisans by the Nazis in 1944 near Castello Brown.

From the square, a few steps take you to the promenade with its luxurious boats. I sit on a bench and admire the sea, perhaps snacking on some chips.

Castello Brown

Castello Brown

I then continue to Castello Brown, which dominates the historic center. Its origin is thought to date back to the 15th century when it had a military function during the Republic of Genoa.

Later, after the Unification of Italy, the castle was purchased by Sir Brown, who turned it into a splendid noble residence and also created a wonderful garden. Currently, it is owned by the municipality, but the name has remained. The castle is open to visitors, and I recommend going to the terrace where the view is simply stunning!

It’s possible to walk through the garden and the interior where both original period furniture and furnishings are still visible. The ticket is 5 euros per person, at least it was when I visited a few years ago. For more information, click here.

Once out of the castle, walk another 500 meters, and you’ll reach the Portofino Lighthouse. I take this opportunity to eat the sandwich I brought from home.

The Church of San Giorgio

Well-refreshed, I head towards the Church of San Giorgio, which, being slightly elevated from the rest of the village, offers a unique view of the square in front.

The Romanesque-style church was built in 1154, although the discovery of a chapel of Lombard origin suggests it may be older.

During the war, the church was heavily bombed, and the last restoration dates back to 1950.

How to get to the church?

As mentioned, the church is located on a promontory, so you need to take a pedestrian road starting from the small square. Alternatively, you can take the staircase from Molo Umberto I, which I discourage as it is very steep.

Having only one day, I must optimize my visit, so my next stop is the Park Museum.

The Park Museum was established in the 1980s, and it houses sculptures by major international artists. I’ll mention a few just to give you an idea: Marrai, Pomodoro, and Messina.

But the beauty of this museum also lies in the park, as it covers about three hectares overlooking the sea. The entrance should be free, at least it was when I visited, but for more information, click here.

The Regional Park of Portofino

View between sea and land in Portofino

My last stop is the Regional Park of Portofino, a protected natural area of the Riviera del Levante that includes Portofino, Camogli, and Santa Margherita Ligure. Here you find Mediterranean vegetation of incomparable beauty and richness, with about 900 species of higher plants.

The fauna is also particularly rich and varied. The stag beetle, the largest European beetle, is present. Do you know the peculiarity of the Park? It has 80 kilometers of marked trails, a real paradise for those who love walking.

Note that these trails are walkable all year round, and you can choose the length based on your abilities. For more information, click here. For more information about what to see in Portofino, click here.

The Beneficial Effects of Honey

Honey is much more than just a sweetener. It’s a concentrated source of health benefits that nature generously provides us with. In fact, rich in nutrients and antioxidants, honey is known for its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. With the presence of enzymes and vitamins, honey can contribute to boosting the immune system and improving digestion.

Honey can be used as a natural remedy for various conditions, such as sore throat and cough. Additionally, honey is valued for its ability to improve sleep quality, thanks to the presence of tryptophan, an amino acid that promotes the production of serotonin, the ‘happy hormone’.

All in all, from enhancing the immune system to managing common ailments, honey proves to be a valuable ally for our daily health. Incorporating it into our daily diet not only adds a touch of sweetness but also brings numerous benefits.

Let’s return to Basilicata, an unknown Italian gem full of surprises, from its unspoiled nature to ancient enchanted villages and artisan shops where you can find unique items. The Lucania region is pure beauty, in addition it also offers high-quality food and wine traditions and… music. Yes, that’s right! Today, we take you to Viggiano, a charming village in the Val d’Agri, in the province of Potenza. Praised even by Pascoli, this small town is famous for its musical tradition. It’s the birthplace of the Italian Folk Harp, which has circled the globe. Let’s explore Viggiano through six things you shouldn’t miss!

1. Piazza Regina delle Genti Lucane

We begin our exploration of Viggiano at Piazza Regina delle Genti Lucane. This panoramic square is located in front of the Pontifical Basilica of the Black Madonna and the Town Hall. From here, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the entire Agri Valley, the lake, and the surrounding mountains. Walking along the “Balaustra delle Genti Lucane”, you’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in an exciting experience, almost like visiting an open-air art gallery.

2. Museum of Local Traditions

Viggiano is famous for its musical tradition related to the folk harp. In the 18th century, many musicians from this small town traveled the world in search of fortune, carrying their portable harps, which they had learned to play from childhood. MUVIG is the Museum of Local Traditions in Viggiano, which hosts a permanent exhibition dedicated to the history of the Viggiano harp. This museum is located in the Convent of Santa Maria del Gesù, built in 1478 by Franciscan monks. Here, you can also discover local traditions, domestic life, and artisan crafts of Viggiano.

3. The Museum of Viggiano’s Harp in the Villa del Marchese

Just a few steps from the historic center, you’ll find the Villa del Marchese Sanfelice, a 19th-century historical residence surrounded by a beautiful garden. Purchased by the Municipality of Viggiano, who recently renovated the building so now it can house the Museum of Music in Viggiano and the Viggiano Folk Harp School. Inside the villa, you can learn about the history and characteristics of the Viggiano harp, see musical instruments up close, and participate in cultural and musical events.

4. The Fountain and Statues of Piazza San Giovanni

Piazza San Giovanni is one of the largest squares in Basilicata and is dedicated to music and concerts. The square is shaped like a harp and features a music fountain that offers water and light shows. The four bronze statues depicting barefoot women playing musical instruments like the violin, flute, cello, and harp are incredibly lifelike and pay tribute to Viggiano’s musical tradition. They often hold free concerts with nationally and internationally renowned artists.

5. The Municipal Theater

This historical gem in the heart of Viggiano has been recently restored. On the dome above the stage, you can admire a pictorial representation of the Last Judgment, which had been hidden under layers of plaster for centuries and was uncovered only recently.

6. The Black Madonna of Viggiano

The Black Madonna of Viggiano is a Byzantine icon found on top of a mountain and brought to the village by shepherds. Legend has it that she returned to the mountain on her own during the night. Every first Sunday of May, they carry the Black Madonna in a procession to the mountaintop by twelve “mariofili” along an ancient cattle track. Every September marks the celebration of the Madonna’s return to Viggiano, a significant religious and cultural event.

Viggiano is another magical and lesser-known place in Basilicata, rich in history, culture, and musical traditions. Are you ready to fully immerse yourself in the soul of this fascinating village?

New York has always been a symbol of progress and innovation. However, in recent years, the Big Apple has taken on a new challenge: to become a point of reference for environmental sustainability. In an increasingly environmentally conscious world, New York is standing out as a city that boldly and creatively embraces eco-sustainability.

During my recent journey in the city that never sleeps, I had the opportunity to observe firsthand some of the initiatives through which New York is presenting itself as an increasingly sustainable city.

Fasten your seatbelts and get ready to travel with me to New York like you’ve never seen it before!

New York’s Green New Deal

One of the most ambitious initiatives is the city’s “Green New Deal“, a plan aimed at making New York completely sustainable by 2050. This includes a series of measures such as reducing greenhouse gas emissions, increasing renewable energy, and promoting sustainable mobility.

Specifically, the city has set the ambitious goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 80% by 2050.

Sustainable Transport

Traffic congestion and air pollution have long been critical issues in New York. However, the city has adopted innovative policies to address these challenges.

The introduction of bike lanes, the expansion of public transportation, and the encouragement of electric vehicles are just a few initiatives aimed at reducing the environmental impact of the transportation sector.

In this regard, New York houses an aerial tramway connecting Manhattan to Roosevelt Island: the opportunity to admire the skyline from within it certainly ranks in the top ten of my experiences in the city.

Green Architecture

Sustainable architecture is emerging as a key element in the transformation of New York. New buildings are designed with a particular focus on energy efficiency, the use of recyclable materials, and innovative solutions to reduce the ecological footprint. Skyscrapers adorned with rooftop gardens and green walls testify to the city’s commitment to a greener future.

To provide a concrete example, the Empire State Building is gearing up to become the new green icon of New York. As a matter of fact, the famous skyscraper will be powered exclusively by wind energy.

Urban Parks and Green Areas

New York is famous for its parks, such as Central Park, Bryant Park, Washington Square Park, and the High Line. However, the city is investing even more in creating green spaces accessible to all citizens. These not only contribute to the well-being of the community but also act as green lungs, absorbing carbon and promoting biodiversity.

In particular, during my trip, I had the opportunity to visit Little Island, a real floating garden on the Hudson River: can you believe that over 66,000 bulbs and 114 trees have been planted so far?

You can find more information about this fascinating green project at this link.

Community Engagement

Sustainability in New York is not just a matter of government policies but actively involves the community. Local initiatives, such as neighborhood composting and urban farming, are gaining popularity. Citizens themselves are embracing more sustainable lifestyles, reducing waste, and adopting greener practices.

In conclusion, it’s clear that New York is wholeheartedly embracing a green future. Through innovative policies, architectural projects, and community engagement, the city is transforming into a model of urban sustainability.

What are you waiting for? Hurry up and pack your bags for a green journey in the most fascinating metropolis on the planet!

Travelling is a transformative experience that goes beyond being a simple break from daily routines. It has the potential to expand our horizons, broaden our perspectives, and enrich our lives in ways that may go unnoticed. While relaxation and adventure are often the primary motivations for going on a journey, the benefits of travelling extend far beyond these. Scientific research has uncovered that travelling is beneficial for well-being, and there are multiple advantages that can be derived from exploration. So, let’s pack our bags and dive into these benefits!

Boosts mental well-being

Travelling has a positive impact on mental health. Experiencing new environments, cultures, and challenges stimulates our brains, leading to increased creativity and cognitive flexibility. Moreover, encountering unfamiliar situations and adapting to them fosters resilience and problem-solving skills. Travelling can also improve our mood and enhance overall well-being, ultimately contributing to a healthier mind.

Nurtures social connections

Maybe not the most obvious benefit, but the social connections that we create while travelling by creating new friendships, and strengthening existing ones contribute to happiness and welfare. Research has shown that frequent travellers tend to have larger social networks, experience increased social support, and have a greater sense of belonging. Sharing experiences and creating memories with others creates lasting bonds that enrich lives long after the travels end.

Good for our physical health

Next to our mind, our bodies benefit from travelling as well. It encourages physical activity, whether it’s exploring ancient ruins, hiking through forests, or cycling through picturesque landscapes. Opting for sustainable transportation methods, such as walking or biking, not only benefits our health but we also reduce carbon emissions.

Travel is good for physical health

Reduces stress

Nowadays stress is one of the most common problems in our lives, travelling is a well-known remedy for its relief. Stepping away from the demands and pressures of everyday life and immersing ourselves in a new environment can have a profound impact on reducing stress levels. Research has shown that travel helps decrease cortisol, the stress hormone, and increase the production of endorphins, the feel-good hormones. Whether it’s lounging on a beach, exploring a bustling city, or immersing ourselves in nature, the change of scenery and the sense of adventure can provide a much-needed break from the stressors of daily life.

Fosters personal growth

Last but not least, stepping out of our comfort zones and experiencing unfamiliar surroundings pushes us to confront fears and limitations. Travelling encourages personal growth by promoting self-confidence, independence, and adaptability. Navigating through a foreign city, communicating in a different language, or trying new activities contribute to personal development, making individuals more resilient and open-minded.

The effects of climate change and global warming are increasingly visible to everyone. The devastating fires that affected Sicily this summer may be the most clear example of this. Palermo-based artist Igor Scalisi Palmintieri shows how art can be a means to raise awareness about these catastrophic events. Fires and climate change are the main topics of his murals known as “The Triptych of Hope“. Let’s discover them together!

The Murals of Monreale

After the fires that took place last summer, which impacted me a lot, I thought about telling everyone what’s going on in our territory” – the artist explains. With this in mind, the street artist Igor Scalisi Palmintieri, who is well-known in Palermo for his artistic and social commitment, decided to create “The Triptych of Hope”.

"The Triptych of Hope", mural in the hamlet of Pioppo

The artwork consist of three vibrant murals located in three different hamlets of the municipality of Monreale (Pioppo, Aquino and Grisì), which have in common the themes of fire and hope. Using the author’s words: “Men have disappeared, only the damaged nature remains. However, Mother Earth is still there, giving us hope“.

Palmintieri reveals that he has freely drawn inspiration from the mosaics of the Monreale Cathedral. However, he used different interpretation keys. As a matter of fact, the ark represents the Church in the Cathedral’s mosaics, while in “The Triptych of Hope” it becomes a symbol of the Community understood as dwelling, as “protection, like the houses that burned last summer“.

Art as a Way to Raise Awareness

The key element of the artwork is hope, as suggested by its title. In fact, even though at first glance it might convey an apocalyptic perspective, it carries a profound message of trust, which necessarily involves raising awareness about these crucial and current issues.

Through the creation of “The Triptych of Hope”, Palmintieri aims to make people reflect on the consequences of climate change and global warming. As a matter of fact, in addition to the presence of fire, which represents the devastating fires that have ravaged the island, the theme of water is also recurrent, indirectly alluding to glacier melting.

The sensitivity and growing awareness of environmental issues are first and foremost demonstrated by the municipality of Monreale itself. It was indeed the residents who commissioned this project through Participatory Democracy tools.

It is an extremely important action that sends a message of hope, especially for young people. In fact, through his work, Palmintieri expresses his closeness to future generations.

“The Triptych of Hope” is a concrete example of how art can be an extremely powerful tool for reflection. In other words, it shows that the path of awareness is the right way to inspire communities and future generations to protect our planet.

What are the green behaviors to follow at the beach and on the shore? Here are 12 rules to be environmentally conscious even while on vacation!

What green behaviors should you adopt at the beach to be environmentally conscious even while on vacation? According to Legambiente’s Beach Litter 2023 initiative, which monitored the amount of litter on 38 Italian beaches, over 37,000 pieces of trash were counted in May alone.

Over 70% of the waste collected on these beaches is composed of plastic and other synthetic polymers, materials that can take anywhere from a hundred to a thousand years to decompose in nature! Topping the list of the most frequent types of waste found on Italian beaches are plastic fragments (about 10% of the total waste); followed by caps and lids (over 8% of the total); cigarette butts (about 6% of the total); and plastic cotton swabs (4% of the total).

The “Beach Litter” initiative also includes an educational activity on how to keep the beaches clean and the importance of marine and coastal biodiversity. The aim is to monitor the waste left on our coastlines in the hope that talking about it can bring change.

So what can we do “in our small way”? Here are twelve tips to be environmentally conscious at the beach and on the shore.

Green Behaviors at the Beach and on the Shore: 12 Tips

1. Recycle

Respect recycling guidelines even on the beach. If you do it at home, why not do it on vacation? Remember to bring bags to collect and separate waste. If the beach lacks waste bins, the rule is to carry your waste with you. An interesting idea might be to organize “clean walking” outings with friends and family. While walking along the shoreline, use appropriate grabbers (and consider wearing gloves) to collect trash you find along the way. Biodegradable gloves and bags are available for maximum environmental respect.

2. Natural Beach Towels

Use beach towels made of cotton or natural bamboo fibers. Avoid plastic mats or synthetic materials. Indeed, several brands now offer special “environmentally friendly” lines.

3. Swimwear

Choose swimwear made from recycled materials or handmade options. When washing them, do it by hand using eco-friendly, gentle detergents.

4. Organic Sunscreen

Purchase sunscreens without oxybenzone and with mineral-based filters. Evidently, recent studies have shown that oxybenzone is a hazardous substance that contributes to coral reef destruction.

5. Biodegradable Shampoo and Shower Gel

Use biodegradable products not only at the beach but also for everyday use to reduce marine pollution.

6. Beach Bags

Opt for cotton mesh or canvas beach bags. Make sure to test their durability before leaving, especially if you’re like me and tend to carry a lot.

7. Pack Your Lunch

If you enjoy having lunch by the sea, use reusable and plastic-free cutlery and dishes. For example for lunch containers and water bottles, you can easily find bamboo or aluminum options in stores.

8. Sustainable Toys

If you want your children to do something different from building sandcastles, you can buy eco-friendly toys made of wood or recycled materials.

9. Don’t Collect Shells, Starfish, Flowers, or Sand, and Avoid Disturbing Marine Life

Perhaps you’re not aware, but the beach and the sea are ecosystems that must be preserved and protected. Taking home “souvenirs” not only disrupts these ecosystems (imagine if everyone did it), but it’s also illegal according to Article 1162 of the Navigation Code, not to mention what the Cassation Court has ruled in this regard.

10. No Bonfires

A bonfire may be beautiful and romantic, but it’s also very dangerous. If you can’t control the flames, they could take over and irreparably damage marine biodiversity, not to mention the serious harm they could cause to people.

11. No Smoking on the Beach

Avoid lighting up on the beach to reduce air pollution, discourage smoking, including passive smoking, improve the well-being of everyone, and reduce waste (those famous 6% of beach waste, i.e., cigarette butts).

12. Walk or bike to the beach

Finally, an important piece of advice. You’re on vacation, so arrive at the beach in a relaxed manner. Why the rush? So, walk or bike to the beach, and the environment will thank you, as sustainable mobility is essential.

Cycle tourism, an activity that combines the pleasure of traveling with a passion for cycling, is becoming more and more popular. The latest data, such as those provided by Legambiente in their press release of 2023, confirm that bike tourism is no longer a niche, but is emerging as an increasingly widespread travel trend.

The Numbers Provided By Legambiente

According to the data provided by Legambiente in collaboration with Isnart in 2023, cycling vacations have recorded a significant increase compared to previous years.

The total number of cycle tourists in Italy is constantly growing: there were 9 million in 2022 (in 2019 there were 4.4 million), a number that created an economic impact of over 1 billion euros.

A key point highlighted by Legambiente concerns the growth of this sector in Italian regions where this touristic product had not yet taken hold.

In addition to the established regions in this product, such as Tuscany, Veneto, and Trentino-Alto Adige (which alone attracted 47% of cycle tourism flows in 2022), there is emphasis on the progressive spread of this trend throughout the rest of the country. It’s worth mentioning:

  • Basilicata, which hosts 21 cycle tourism itineraries for a total of 1,729 km.
  • Abruzzo, where the experience of cycling along the “Costa dei Trabocchi” stands out.

  • Puglia, which aims for a “bike” positioning, especially through the organization of many sport activities.
  • Calabria, which has strongly focused on the “Bike paths Park“.

Sustainability And Cycle Tourism

In addition to participation numbers, the data emphasize how cycle tourism is becoming an increasingly popular choice for those seeking sustainable travel experiences. Traveling by bike, in fact, reduces carbon emissions, providing an ecological alternative to traditional modes of transportation.

This connection between sustainability and cycle tourism could be one of the main drivers of this exponential growth. In the face of global attention to environmental protection, cycle tourism emerges as a practice that not only allows exploration of new places but also contributes to preserving the ecosystem.

Conclusions

In conclusion, cycle tourism is no longer confined to a niche but is becoming a fast-growing trend that requires resources and investments. The sustainable aspect, along with the positive impact on local communities, makes biking tourism an enticing choice for travelers.

If you’re looking for an exciting, healthy, and responsible way to explore the world, cycle tourism is definitely the way to go!
