Portofino is a fishing village on the Ligurian Riviera, completely immersed in the Mediterranean scrub. Its uniqueness lies in the colorful houses nestled one against the other. Expensive shops and luxury yachts docked at the pier suggest its exclusivity. However, you can discover this location in an eco-friendly way by choosing to visit off-season on a day trip, perhaps reaching it on foot from Camogli.

Overview of Portofino Photo Canva Pro

When to go to Portofino

I advise against the summer period, which is full of tourists. In spring or autumn, you can better appreciate the landscape, avoiding overtourism. Usually, the climate is mild, allowing you to fully enjoy the beauties of Portofino without the crowds of mass tourism.

What to see in a day in Portofino? There are really many things to see, so arrive early and start the day soon!

My day trip to this pearl of Liguria, during my vacation in the Cinque Terre, starts from Piazza Martiri dell’Olivetta.

This square is the main square of Portofino and is also its symbol. Here you can find several beautiful restaurants with local specialties and fashionable boutiques located among the typical fishermen’s houses. I note that the name Martiri dell’Olivetta refers to the killing of 22 partisans by the Nazis in 1944 near Castello Brown.

From the square, a few steps take you to the promenade with its luxurious boats. I sit on a bench and admire the sea, perhaps snacking on some chips.

Castello Brown

Castello Brown

I then continue to Castello Brown, which dominates the historic center. Its origin is thought to date back to the 15th century when it had a military function during the Republic of Genoa.

Later, after the Unification of Italy, the castle was purchased by Sir Brown, who turned it into a splendid noble residence and also created a wonderful garden. Currently, it is owned by the municipality, but the name has remained. The castle is open to visitors, and I recommend going to the terrace where the view is simply stunning!

It’s possible to walk through the garden and the interior where both original period furniture and furnishings are still visible. The ticket is 5 euros per person, at least it was when I visited a few years ago. For more information, click here.

Once out of the castle, walk another 500 meters, and you’ll reach the Portofino Lighthouse. I take this opportunity to eat the sandwich I brought from home.

The Church of San Giorgio

Well-refreshed, I head towards the Church of San Giorgio, which, being slightly elevated from the rest of the village, offers a unique view of the square in front.

The Romanesque-style church was built in 1154, although the discovery of a chapel of Lombard origin suggests it may be older.

During the war, the church was heavily bombed, and the last restoration dates back to 1950.

How to get to the church?

As mentioned, the church is located on a promontory, so you need to take a pedestrian road starting from the small square. Alternatively, you can take the staircase from Molo Umberto I, which I discourage as it is very steep.

Having only one day, I must optimize my visit, so my next stop is the Park Museum.

The Park Museum was established in the 1980s, and it houses sculptures by major international artists. I’ll mention a few just to give you an idea: Marrai, Pomodoro, and Messina.

But the beauty of this museum also lies in the park, as it covers about three hectares overlooking the sea. The entrance should be free, at least it was when I visited, but for more information, click here.

The Regional Park of Portofino

View between sea and land in Portofino

My last stop is the Regional Park of Portofino, a protected natural area of the Riviera del Levante that includes Portofino, Camogli, and Santa Margherita Ligure. Here you find Mediterranean vegetation of incomparable beauty and richness, with about 900 species of higher plants.

The fauna is also particularly rich and varied. The stag beetle, the largest European beetle, is present. Do you know the peculiarity of the Park? It has 80 kilometers of marked trails, a real paradise for those who love walking.

Note that these trails are walkable all year round, and you can choose the length based on your abilities. For more information, click here. For more information about what to see in Portofino, click here.

If you are a surf enthusiast or have always wanted to try this fascinating sport, Liguria offers a series of spots that cannot be ignored. From waves for beginners to more challenging ones, here is a list of the best places for surfing in Liguria.

The Best Surf Spots in Liguria

1. Levanto: Waves up to Four Meters

Just a stone’s throw from the Cinque Terre National Park, Levanto offers waves that can reach heights of over 4 meters. This place is loved by surfers looking for challenging experiences. The different seabed characteristics provide multiple spots, the charm of which varies depending on sea conditions influenced by winds and tides. The “La Pietra” spot is the most sheltered, thanks to its shallow sandy bottom, it offers lower and easier-to-ride waves, even for beginners. The “Casinò” spot, in the center of the bay, can reach waves of 4 meters, driven by the Libeccio and Maestrale winds. Meanwhile, the “Nadia” spot has more regular but also more challenging and challenging waves, suitable for the more experienced surfers.

2. Lerici: The Azure Venus of Surfing

The village of Lerici, in the Gulf of La Spezia, is becoming increasingly popular among surfers. This “Azure Venus” of Liguria is mainly frequented in winter when the storms hit the eastern coast thanks to the Libeccio wind. The presence of a sturdy breakwater protects the beach, ensuring ideal conditions for surfing.

3. Bogliasco: The History of Surfing

Just 10 kilometers west of Genoa, you’ll find Bogliasco, a historic place for the world of surfing. Here, in the 1970s, the passion for this sport developed, with pioneers venturing into virtually unknown waters. The “line-up” area, where waves are caught, is located at the end of the tourist harbor, in a very convenient location.

Check the wave forecast in Bogliasco.

4. Recco: Paradise for Beginners

Not far from Bogliasco, Recco is a paradise for beginner surfers. The high frequency of small waves makes this place ideal for learning and perfecting techniques. Here, the Recco Surfestival takes place, an annual festival that attracts surfers from all over Italy.

Check the wave forecast in Recco.

5. Varazze: Waiting for the Libeccio

On the Riviera di Ponente, the favorite spot for surfers is Varazze. This spot is ideal for experienced surfers, especially in winter or late autumn when the Libeccio wind blows strongly, creating impressive waves. Water and adrenaline enthusiasts will find a paradise here.

Check the surf forecast for Varazze.

Choosing one of these charming spots will allow you to enjoy a unique surfing experience in the beautiful setting of the Ligurian coast. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, Liguria has something to offer all surf enthusiasts.

Crystal-clear waters, wild coves, and breathtaking cliffs. Here we are on the Riviera delle Palme, an enchanting and renowned area of Liguria. Specifically, we find ourselves in Bergeggi, a picturesque destination perfect for lovers of the sea, pristine nature, and local traditions.

Bergeggi, between beaches and protected islands

Suspended between mountains and the sea, this small town (with just over a thousand inhabitants) is ideal for taking a break from the hustle and bustle and experiencing moments of absoluterelaxation. Despite its small size, the village offers numerous points of interest and activities. However, its beaches are undoubtedly the main attraction for travelers. They offer a wide range of choices between pebbles and finesand, whether you love rugged coves or equipped bathing establishments.

For example, there is Punta Prodani, a little secret corner accessible by boat or via a path that starts from the charming Lido delle Sirene. While the beaches impress us with the color of the sea and their beauty, it is the island that makes us fall in love with Bergeggi. About 250 meters from the coast, a cone of limestone covered with Mediterranean scrub emerges from the sea, reaching an altitude of 53 meters at its highest point.

The island

The island, also known as Sant’Eugenio Island, has been a Marine Protected Area since 2007. It preserve incredible biodiversity and extraordinary seabeds, caves and small coves, as well as legends and ancient history. Despite its small size, it boasts numerous historical and archaeological sites. A large circular tower from the Roman era, topped by a square-based tower from the medieval period, and a Paleochristian church with an attached monastery, likely added in the 11th century AD, all adding significant historical and cultural value to this impressive place.

You can easily organize trips for kayaking, diving, and snorkeling to admire the fantastic marine world that inhabits these waters, exclusively in designated areas.

Finally you can’t miss the Grotta Marina di Bergeggi, a karstic cave dating back approximately 200 million years. You will find it between Torre del Mare and the town center.

The village of Bergeggi

The small town is located on the slopes of Mount Sant’Elena, in an elevated position compared to the sea. Narrow streets and pastelcolored houses with typical terrace roofs form small clusters scattered among olivegroves and vineyards, descending towards the sea through alleys. From the village and the surrounding hills, there are plenty of opportunities for walks and nature trekking.

The surroundings: Noli and Spotorno

In the vicinity of Bergeggi, there are certainly enchanting places to visit. We have chosen Spotorno and Noli.

Spotorno embodies the genuinecharm of Liguria. Behind a golden expanse of sand lies an ancientvillage waiting to be discovered. With its narrow and picturesque streets, colorful houses, and squares, it welcomes you with an authentic atmosphere.

Noli, village in Liguria

Noli is also an enchanting seaside village. Its historic center, surrounded by medievalwalls, holds a treasure trove of riches that tell of its glorious history as the Fifth Maritime Republic and its present as one of Italy’s most beautiful villages. We immerse ourselves in the narrow streets to explore the treasures of Noli. From the magnificent towers to the majestic castle overlooking the city, to the evocative cathedral and other precious palaces and monuments of great historical and artistic value.

Where to stay for a sustainable vacation in Bergeggi and the Ligurian Riviera

It is precisely on the hills between Noli and Spotorno that we have chosen our base. Cà de Badin is a small, typical, and charming familyrunB&B immersed in nature. With organicbreakfasts and traditional buildings, you can live a slow life guided by ecosustainability and respect for traditions.

And it is from here that we set out to discover the postcard-perfect beaches of Bergeggi, the narrow streets of Spotorno, the islet, and the incredible wonders of the Ligurian Riviera. Do you want to come with us?

Alta Via dei Monti Liguri is one of the beauties of the region of Liguria (Italy). Alta Via is formed by thousands of kilometres of paths and mule tracks. These tracks connect the two extremes of the Region, from Ventimiglia to Ceparana, in other words from the province of Imperia to the one of La Spezia.

The paths are viable all year long and from here is possible to observe, at different points, the Alps and the Apennines, the sea and the wide grasslands, in a wild environment that cannot be discovered by car but just on foot or mountain bike. In some points is possible to admire, at the same time, Corsica, Monviso and Monte Rosa mount.

The Ligurian hinterland is perfect for whoever wants to live an adventure, even just for a weekend, or for whoever wants to relax in uncontaminated nature. The path of Alta Via is marked by little red and white flags with the writing “AV”. In this article, we propose you Alta Via dei Monti Liguri in eight stops, for eight unforgettable weekends.

Stop 1: Nervia Valley

Dolceacqua

The first stop of Alta Via dei Monti Liguri we propose to you is the one of Nervia Valley. The path starts from Ventimiglia, and it arrives at the forest Testa d’Alpe, passing by the fossils cliffs of Roverino. The path was built for military reasons in the 30’, to prevent fire from the French lines. Walking on this path you will have the opportunity to go through terraces of olive trees and vineyards of Rossese. While you will head to the top of the mountain you will have the opportunity to observe scented bushes of thyme and lavender.

Once you will reach the top of the mountain you will have the possibility to observe rare alpine flora, difficult to find in other places. If you are lucky, you can have the opportunity to spot wild mountain fauna, such as eagles, chamois and wolves or the typical Mediterranean one, like the ocellated lizard. You can find the most suggestive landscape on the path of Alpini, a track dug into the rocks which extend along the slopes of Pietravecchia and Toraggio mounts. From here you will have a breathtaking view of the Ligurian sea.

Stop 2: Ligurian Alps

Ligurian Alps

The second path we propose to you is located in the Ligurian Alps. This track goes through dense coniferous woods and wide grasslands. Thank to this uncontaminated environment, which has been kept as much as possible at its natural state, is possible to find a rich alpine fauna composed of animals such as hares, chamois, martens and marmots in addition to a rich birdlife.

Once you enter the Natural Park of Ligurian Alps, you reach the peak of Saccarello mount. From here you can enjoy an amazing view of the sea and mountains. At the slopes of the mount, you can visit the ancient typical Ligurian villages of Realdo and Verdeggia. In the surroundings of Colle di Nava is also possible to observe the first Savoy fortifications, built to defend the Kingdom of Sardinia.

Stop 3: Melogno

Galero mount

On this third stop, we enter the Passo del Melogno. This section of the track is characterised by three mountains: Galero, Rocca Barbena and Carmo di Loano mount. Nearby the peak of Galero mount is possible to observe wonderful sculptures of rocky conglomerate, called “Giganti di Pietra” (literally “Giants of rock”). From the peak is possible to observe the charming perspectives of the Tanaro and Pennavaira valleys.

At this stop is possible to observe typical Nordic floral species such as blueberry, juniper and alpine rose, thanks to the different microclimate that characterised this area. Once you passed Carmo mount you can go deeper into the beech forest of Melogno, a source of richness for the local population. Besides beaches, you can also find birches, white firs, scots pines, maples and ashes.

Stop 4: Beigua

Beigua park

This fourth stop is particular since is located in an area densely forested. Here the path enters dense woods, where is possible to find nineteenth-century fortifications and military buildings. If you are a lover of natural parks, this stop is the one right for you: in the location of Meugge, the itinerary goes along for a few kilometres to the Natural Reserve of Adelasia. Once you reach Colle San Giovo you enter the Park of Beigua. At this point, Alta Via enters the altiplano of the mount, a few kilometres far away from the coast.

Thank the environmental and climate characteristics of this area, in the woods you can observe fallow deers, while in the rocky areas nearby you can spot diurnal raptors.

Stop 5: Praglia

Graves at Passo della Bocchetta

This stop is characterized by the fact that is located in an elevated area. Don’t be scared, you can reach it very easily thank to the railway lines located in Masone and Crocetta d’Orero, where “trenino di Casella” passes by. From Bric del Dente you will pass in front of the fortification Bric Geremia, to reach, after a few kilometres, the surroundings of the Memorial of Martiri del Turchino. The memorial is known to be the place where numerous partisans and political prisoners were murdered. Later, the path continues towards Piani di Praglia. Here you can observe numerous graves, as a memory of the various events that involved the partisans.

Because of the characteristics of the soil, this area has no greenery but is this characteristic that makes it charming and different from the others. Particularly interesting is the area that surrounds the Gorzente lakes and Passo della Bocchetta, where you can still admire some “neviere”, a system used for water supply during summer months.

Stop 6: Scoffera

View from Ligurian Apennine with Ramaceto mount on the background

At this stop, you can find something very interesting. An ancient funicular from the first years of 900’ and a railroad, will bring you to the ancient villages of Righi and Casella. In this way, you can reach, easily and ecologically, the ancient “Salt Way” which was used to connect Genova with Padana Plain.

In Noci Valley, you can find the homonymous lake and you will pass by farmers’ villages. Later, you will reach the mounts Alpesia and Candelozzo, until you arrive in the ancient villages of Canate and Scandolaro. At mount Lavagnola different paths take different ways. One of them leads to mount Antola and the other one brings you to Passo della Forcella. During this stop, you can admire wonderful mountains, like Ramaceto mount, which is noticeable thanks to its curious shape, like an amphitheatre.

Stop 7: Zatta

Passo della Forcella

If you like natural parks, besides Beigua stop, you cannot miss this one. From Passo della Forcella you enter the heart of the Regional Natural Park of Aveto. This area is prestigious from a naturalistic point of view thanks to the continuation of typical activities, rich in tradition. Here you can observe ancient medieval paths, with well-conserved flooring.

Once you pass Cappelletta delle Lame, you can access, thank a quick deviation, a group of little glacial lakes located on the slopes of mount Aiona. Once you pass the beech wood located on mount Zatta, you reach Passo dei Cento Croci, which divided the Republic of Genova and the Dukedom of Parma.

Stop 8: Vara

Bolano
Bolano, photo via wikimedia.com

The last stop on Alta Via dei Monti Liguri we propose to you is the one in Vara Valley. This area is characterised by large woods and a not-common alpine flora and fauna. Here is also located Gottero mount, the highest mountain in west Liguria. Nearby the mount you can find Foce dei Tre Confini (literally “Estuary of the three borders”), called like that because once here it was located the border between the Republic of Genova, the Dukedom of Parma and the Dukedom of Tuscany. Once you pass Passi di Calzavitello and Rastello you arrive at an observation spot where you can admire Apuane Alps and Poeti Gulf. Going on and passing the birches wood in Vallecchia, you can also visit the historic centre of Bolano.

Where can you stay during your trip?

During your weekend in nature, you cannot miss staying in eco-sustainable accommodation. For this reason, Ecobnb has selected four amazing accommodations for you.

Lunigiana: borderland of ancient castles and surprising nature, as well as the stage of our journey between Tuscany and Liguria, between sea and mountains.

Our eco-friendly holiday in Lunigiana

Organic Farm in Italy

To discover Lunigiana we have chosen as a starting point an enchanting organic farm located at 300 meters above sea level, on the hills of Sarzana. Campo di Luna welcomes us in a very special location: the house, extremely efficient from an energy point of view, is surrounded by olive trees and fields where the hosts grow fruit plants, blackberries, raspberries, flowers and vegetables of all kinds with sustainable practices. A little further on there we can see a blue expanse: here we can experience all the beauty of the countryside looking at the sea.

The room is comfortable, we also have large common areas both inside and outside the house. For breakfast and dinner we can taste the delicacies produced on site.

This land, which takes its name from the ancient Roman colony of Luni (of which a beautiful archaeological site remains), today identifies itself with the Magra valley and the surroundings, in a territory that embraces different types of environments, a rich biodiversity and a character that is the perfect synthesis of different cultures and traditions.

Pontremoli, Italy

Castles surrounded by greenery, fascinating caves, elegant villages: where to start? Surely you cannot miss a visit to the suggestive Pontremoli, surrounded by hills and mountains. Getting there is like traveling back in time, both for its medieval bridges and for the Piagnaro Castle, which houses the Museum of Stele Statues, beautiful anthropomorphic sculptures that represent the most important testimony of prehistoric Lunigiana.

Also you must see the natural caves located in the medieval village of Equi Terme, also famous for its thermal baths. It is a fascinating and extensive underground karst system, shaped over the millennia by the action of water. Walking among caves, tunnels, stalactites and underground lakes is a truly suggestive experience.

Among the many villages that dot the Lunigiana, we have chosen Castelnuovo Magra with its typically Ligurian pastel colors, Sarzana with the Firmafede fortress wanted by Lorenzo Il Magnifico. We also visit Colonnata, surrounded by greenery and famous for its tasty lard.

There is still so much to see, including castles, rivers and villages, but we certainly can’t miss the Carrara marble quarries.

Typical produces and local specialties

Italian recipe: testaroli with pesto

Spending a holiday in Lunigiana means enjoying its unique views, but it also means enjoying its food and wine heritage. The territorial diversities of Lunigiana translate in fact into an unparalleled gastronomic richness. Lunigiana honey was the first Italian honey to obtain the DOP mark and therefore we certainly must taste it. Then there is the typical chestnut flour, the Zeri potato and the Bigliolo bean. Among the recipes we recommend the testaroli with pesto, the panigacci of Podenzana and also the spongata, a great dessert.

This rich and fascinating land hides beautiful paths and itineraries among its woods and ridges. The Via Francigena also passes here, in the first Tuscan stage of the pilgrimage. On foot, by mountain bike, to be done in a few hours or to be covered slowly throughout the journey. We have endless possibilities. For those who have time available, we recommend the Lunigiana Trail, a MTB route that allows you to discover all the beauty of this territory in 230 truly exciting kilometers, crossing valleys, streams and medieval villages with the company of the Apuan Alps.

Starting from the Pieve di Sorano towards Filattiera you can reach the Martinello. On the other hand, if you prefer to walk, we recommend the CAI 00 path, in the mountains of Pontremoli. It connects the Bratello Pass and the Borgallo Pass. You can also choose the CAI 116 path which leads you to Bagnone springs.

Between chestnut groves and medieval streets, the Lungiana is ready to surprise you with its pristine nature and its history.

What to do and what to see in Alta Val d’Orba

Despite the tranquility of these places, in Alta Val d’Orba there is a lot to do, discover and experience. One of the main attractions is certainly water: some paths run along beautiful rivers and streams, someone could venture into river trekking or even canyoning, and then dive into the small lakes and natural pools that dot the woods. The valley is also perfect for cycling lovers; in fact there are numerous circular itineraries, on asphalted roads in the midst of scenic landscapes.

In the municipality of Tiglieto, in a green plain, there is also the Badia, a real jewel of Cistercian architecture. This Romanesque monastery, founded in 1120, still today amazes for its beauty, perfectly inserted in the bucolic landscape. Also in Tiglieto, not far from the abbey, the Romanesque bridge over the Orba is also worth a visit. Finally, throughout the territory we can admire rock engravings dating back to the Neolithic and pre-Christian periods.

A natural paradise surrounded by Sarzana hills (Liguria, Italy). Campo di Luna organic agritourism is the result of Pinuccia and Alberto’s dream. They have changed their lives and took a green direction. This is their story

Next to Cinque Terre, but far from touristic areas, there is an amazing place with a wonderful view of the sea. Campo di Luna is an organic agritourism surrounded by olives tree, located in Falcinello, Sarzana. The location is very quiet and isolated, submerged in unspoiled nature. Here, the sea and the hills live together as one and create a unique atmosphere, that makes your spirit part of this piece of this world. In addition, from this place, you can reach Pisa, Lucca, or Pietrasanta in only one hour by car. And we are about 20 minutes by walk far from the sea.

The garden of campo di luna

What’s more surprising about this place, is the tale of rebirth and life change that it communicates.

We interviewed Pinuccia, who is the owner of the organic agritourism Campo di Luna, along with her husband Alberto. Here’s their story:

campo di luna owners, pinuccia and alberto

How and when was Campo di Luna agritourism born?

The agritourism was born about ten years ago. My husband and I have dreamed for years to change our lives by creating an eco-friendly agritourism. We have always cared about nature and the environment, so we have decided to embrace a sustainable and off-grid lifestyle. We wanted to spread our love for nature to visitors and guests, and that’s what we do here.

Of course, to be able to change our lives, we had to leave something. That was our textile firm. In this firm about 15 people used to work for us, so we had to find a new job for all of them. Then we moved from Brianza to the hills of Lunigiana. Now we own and work in Campo di Luna agritourism, a little paradise submerged in nature between Cinque Terre and Sarzana.

What makes your agritourism sustainable?

We have worked very hard to find a sustainable way to live. The electricity of the structure comes from photovoltaic panels. On the other hand, the water comes from a local spring, that is periodically analyzed to ensure its drinkability. The heating is provided by a woodburning stove. We collect the wood every week from the woods. These expedients allow us to be almost completely self-sufficient, and this was our main goal. Moreover, thanks to our vegetable garden, we can always offer organic and km zero products, such as our extra-virgin olive oil.

living room agritorusim campo di luna

What do your guests appreciate the most about the agritourism?

Surely, our location offers our guests something special they’re not used to: the silence.

The house is very appreciated for being very comfortable and, in addition, its energy class is A+. The interior is well-lit because of its many windows, which offer a beautiful sight of the sea. Being surrounded by nature gives a sensation of calm and quiet which is difficult to find in other places.

Each room has natural materials furniture and some pieces of art, which make them welcoming to everyone. But what probably our guests appreciate the most is the warm hospitality. Whoever comes to Campo di Luna enters our Home.

Some specialities of campo di luna agritourism

We are happy to share dinner with our guest while knowing them and having fun. We eat what I cooked during the day, usually coming directly from our vegetable garden. In fact, every morning Alberto and I work in the garden, picking up the goods that we will serve for dinner.

Which km zero speciality ca be tasted in your in the agritourism?

In our vegetable garden, we grow several delicious vegetables. Tomatoes, artichokes, aubergines, asparagus, chilly peppers and peppers are some of them. In addition, we have many fruit trees such as apple tree, pear tree, cherry tree, peach tree and some berries like blackberry, raspberry and strawberry. With the olives of the area, we produce our extra virgin olive oil, which is always our favourite dressing.

campo di luna vegetable garden is very rich

Which green paths would you recommend?

By walk, you can reach Castello Della Brina ruins on the hill. On the opposite direction, you can go to Sarzana through a beautiful path. Over the hill in front of the agritourism, you can enjoy a wonderful sight of Tuscany, which is very close to our location. This area is a real paradise for those who love long strolls and adventurous hikes in nature.

What does it mean to you, to be an Ecobnb?

We have always dreamed of building an eco-sustainable structure. So we choose to renovate an old building, in order to not waste some precious piece of natural ground. We want to offer our guests the genuine warmth of our home, the organic flavours of our garden and the enchanting nature of this place. We do our best to enhance continuously our structure and we try, as anyone else in the touristic field does, to be welcoming and helpful for our guests. Who comes here, is looking for something more than a vacation, something that respects nature all-around.

We thank Pinuccia and Alberto for sharing with us the experience of a dream that came true.

Campo di Luna is a magic place, where you can find your harmony with nature. Here you can switch off and relax, living every day in a new and sustainable way. Their dream came true, so what are you waiting for? Don’t stop dreaming a visit this enchanting organic agritourism on the hills of Lunigiana.

According to recent studies, being in touch with nature, even for a few hours, has several benefits on our mental and physical health.

The study, carried out by researchers at the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom and published in Scientific Reports, involved about 20 thousand people who spent some time in contact with nature. After a careful analysis of the results, it was found that all those who had spent at least 120 minutes a week in nature, had psycho but also physical improvements.
