Traveling has long been an avenue for us to experience the vast beauty and cultures of the world. However, with the rise of environmental concerns, there’s been a significant shift in how we view travel. Now, moving from being a traveler to becoming a conscious traveler is essential. In this spirit, packing tips for the conscious traveler have emerged, setting a foundation for sustainable journeys.

The Small Steps Towards Greater Change

Adopting eco-friendly habits can seem overwhelming at first. Still, the truth remains that every small step contributes to a larger impact. A recycled bottle here, a bike ride there – these choices weave together to form a tapestry of change.

Similarly, sustainable tourism and travel magnify this effect. With each journey, travelers can tread lightly, leaving behind a world for future generations to explore. Now, let’s delve into nine packing tips for the conscious traveler.

1. Eco-Friendly Travel Essentials

In today’s world, where single-use items are pervasive, switching to eco-friendly alternatives has never been more crucial. Packing with the planet in mind means more than just tossing items into a suitcase; it involves careful consideration. Stainless steel water bottles help you reduce plastic waste and maintain the temperature of your beverages.

Also, reusable cloth bags are versatile and suitable for shopping or carrying beach essentials. On the other hand, biodegradable toiletries ensure that the water systems aren’t polluted with harmful chemicals. By making these simple switches, travelers take a monumental step toward reducing their environmental footprint.

2. Opt for Multi-purpose Items

The art of efficient packing lies in maximizing utility while minimizing volume. Instead of packing individual items for specific needs, consider items that serve multiple purposes. That reduces the weight and space your luggage occupies and cuts down on the consumption and waste of resources.

A well-designed sarong, for instance, is a traveler’s dream. It can be a sunshade, a makeshift dress, a beach towel, or even a blanket on chilly nights. By prioritizing multi-functional items, you champion sustainability and make your journey more comfortable.

3. Sustainable Accommodation Choices

Every aspect of travel contributes to your journey’s sustainability, including where you lay your head at night. While packing may seem unrelated to choosing accommodations, being equipped with knowledge aids in making better decisions. Many accommodations now boast eco-friendly initiatives, from solar energy usage to water conservation projects.

As a conscious traveler, research sustainable accommodation and pack accordingly. Perhaps you’ll need fewer toiletries if the hotel provides eco-friendly options or fewer linens if the property encourages reuse.

4. Minimize Gadgets

In our connected era, bringing every piece of tech with us is tempting. However, it’s essential to differentiate between ‘want’ and ‘need.’ Each device carries the added weight of chargers, cables, and accessories.

Instead, ask yourself: Can my smartphone double as a camera? Can my e-reader serve as a travel guide? By reducing the number of gadgets, you lighten your luggage and reduce the energy consumption required for charging multiple devices, emphasizing efficiency and mindfulness.

5. Light Travel, Big Impact

A shift towards packing lighter is a direct step towards eco-friendly travel. Fewer items in your luggage translate to reduced weight on planes, buses, or cars, leading to lower fuel consumption. Therefore, choosing lightweight materials for clothing and gear can be a game-changer.

Furthermore, finding ways to minimize your carbon footprint when traveling is essential. Consider offsetting your carbon emissions or participating in local tree-planting activities. Traveling light is not just about fewer items but about making choices that lighten the load on our planet.

6. Support Local Artisans

The allure of travel often lies in the unique experiences and memories we gather. Instead of buying mass-produced souvenirs, why not look for items that tell a story? Local artisans offer goods that carry the essence of the place, be it in the form of handcrafted jewelry, pottery, or textiles.

Packing with the intention to support local economies not only ensures you return with meaningful mementos but also helps sustain regional cultures and traditions. As they say, travel will do you good, particularly when you weave tales of local wonders into your journey.

7. Choose Natural Fibers

The fashion industry significantly contributes to environmental degradation, so our clothing choices matter immensely. Natural fibers, such as cotton, silk, and wool, are biodegradable, ensuring they return to the earth without causing harm. Unlike synthetic materials, they don’t release microplastics during washes, preserving marine ecosystems.

Additionally, these materials are often more breathable and comfortable and adapt well to varying climates, ensuring you stay comfortable throughout your journey. By opting for natural fibers, you make a statement about personal comfort and a commitment to a greener planet.

8. Embrace Refillables and Zero-Waste Kits

One of the most significant sources of waste during travel comes from single-use items, especially in personal care. Incorporating refillable containers in your packing routine can significantly reduce the amount of plastic waste you generate on your trips. Opt for refillable silicone bottles instead of carrying multiple travel-sized shampoos or lotions.

On top of that, consider packing a zero-waste kit, including items like a bamboo toothbrush, solid toothpaste tabs, and shampoo bars. Not only do these reduce plastic waste, but they’re also lightweight and space-saving. Such proactive measures embody the essence of packing consciously, aligning personal convenience with global sustainability.

9. Lean into Digital Documentation

Paper waste is an often overlooked aspect of travel. From boarding passes to city maps, the amount of paper we use and discard can be staggering. As a solution, lean into the digital realm. Download digital boarding passes on your phone, utilize e-tickets for attractions, and use map apps instead of paper versions.

Consider using recycled paper or printing on both sides if you must print. By prioritizing digital over physical documentation, you make a small but impactful choice to reduce your carbon footprint.

Final Thoughts on Packing Tips for the Conscious Traveler

The world is at a pivotal point, and our choices carve the path for tomorrow. With these packing tips for the conscious traveler, not only will you travel lighter, but you’ll also set a gold standard for those around you. Every journey has the power to be a step toward a greener tomorrow.

People travel to the United States for various reasons, each as diverse as the country itself. For some, it’s the appeal of iconic cities like New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Others are drawn by the stunning natural landscapes, from the awe-inspiring Grand Canyon to the majestic Rocky Mountains.

Travelling can be a long and emissions-intensive journey. However, as the world becomes aware of the environmental impact of tourism, there are eco-friendly tips and alternatives for travelling that have less impact on the environment and support the locals.

Planning and preparing your trip

When planning your trip to the United States, consider alternative routes that minimise carbon emissions. Direct flights are often more fuel-efficient than connecting flights, so opt for non-stop options whenever possible. Additionally, explore the possibility of flying into airports with sustainability initiatives, such as San Francisco International Airport or Portland International Airport.

Your choice of accommodation can significantly impact the sustainability of your trip. Look for eco-friendly hotels, hostels, or vacation rentals that have implemented green practices, such as energy-efficient lighting, water-saving fixtures, and waste reduction programs. Many eco-conscious accommodations also source their food locally and prioritise recycling and composting.

Consider staying in eco-friendly accommodations like Earthships in Taos, New Mexico, or sustainable lodges near national parks where you can immerse yourself in nature without leaving a heavy ecological footprint.

There are green options to get around and explore your destinations. Choose public transportation options like buses, trams, or subways to explore cities like New York, Chicago, or San Francisco. These modes of transport are eco-friendly and offer an authentic way to experience local life.

As you prepare for your trip, consider the convenience, flexibility, and eco-friendliness of eSIM United States. When choosing an eSIM provider, compare plans and prices to find the best option. Many eSIM providers like Holafly offer plans for the United States.

Unlike traditional physical SIM cards, an eSIM lets you activate a local phone number and data plan right from your device, eliminating the need for a physical SIM card swap that can add more e-waste to the landfill.

Eco-friendly destination and activities

The United States is home to various stunning natural landscapes and cultural attractions, making it a popular destination for travellers. These destinations fulfil your need for exploration and contribute to preserving natural and cultural treasures.

Utah’s Arches National Park has over 2,000 natural arches, including iconic landmarks like Delicate Arch and Landscape Arch.  Another popular park is the Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona, one of the Seven Natural Wonders. Whether hiking along its rim, crossing the park on a bike, camping in its shadow, or rafting down the Colorado River, the park offers an array of adventures.

The Denver Museum of Nature and Science would be an exciting spot for history buffs. Located in City Park, Colorado, it is one of the largest museums in the Rocky Mountain region. Visitors can learn about dinosaurs, space exploration, and the natural world. With LEED Gold certification, the museum uses recycled materials and energy-efficient lighting.

Peaceful Heart Farm is also worth checking out for farm stays, workshops, and tours. Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains, it is a certified organic farm committed to sustainable practices such as crop rotation, composting, and cover cropping.

California’s Big Sur coastline is a dreamscape of towering cliffs, pristine beaches, and ancient redwood forests. In addition, the Big Sur community is equally committed to sustainability, with many local businesses adopting practices that minimise their environmental impact.

Sustainable travel tips

Packaging light is one of the simplest and most effective ways to lessen your environmental impact while travelling to the United States. The principle is straightforward: the lighter your luggage, the less fuel your flight will consume.

Another sustainable travel strategy is to bring a reusable water bottle. Many airports and travel hubs now have water bottle refill stations, allowing you to stay hydrated without generating plastic waste.

Conserving energy is an integral part of responsible travel. Turn off lights, heating or cooling systems, and appliances when you’re not using them.

Consider renting an electric car for longer journeys between cities or regions. Many car rental agencies in the United States offer environmentally friendly vehicle options, allowing you to explore with a lower carbon footprint.

As you explore the United States, support businesses that share your commitment to sustainability. Seek out restaurants, shops, and hotels implementing eco-friendly practices. Many establishments prioritise sourcing locally, reducing waste, and conserving resources. Your patronage encourages responsible business practices, helps stimulate the local economy, and promotes sustainable tourism.

Travelling by train may not be as comfortable as driving your own car, which can offer the freedom to decide wherever you want to go without depending on public transport and its time schedules; it is also not as fast as flying on a plane, which rarely stops over during a flight and instead directly reaches the destination. The train might not be your first choice, but Europe is trying to change people’s minds. Indeed, this eco-friendly means of transport allows you to visit every desired place, especially in The Old Continent, where the railway network is highly developed.

This is one of the reasons why national railway companies have started to improve their routes connecting European countries to one another like France, Spain, the Netherlands, Italy, and – across the Channel – England. Not only are all major cities connected to each other, but travellers are also given the possibility to travel by night and not to “waste” any precious daytime for visiting. Passengers can sleep either in couchettes or in sleepers, depending on their budgets, and they can also have dinner in the restaurant car on board.

The new paths

An ÖBB (Österreichische Bundesbahnen, i.e., the Austrian federal railways) train will connect the stunning Paris to Vienna, passing through the Marne Valley and across the Rhine River, following the same route as the Orient Express – before it was withdrawn in 2009.

Another route that comes across the Rhine is the one going from Amsterdam to Zürich, available for both the night and the day. ÖBB has really expanded its network by adding a train going from Stuttgart to Vienna called “Bregenzerwald”, i.e. Bregenzer Forest, named after an Austrian region that confines with Germany. The route isn’t the fastest, but it surely is the most mesmerizing path that allows to admire Lake Constance and to follow the Empress Elizabeth Railway.

Another unpredictable route is the one connecting the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana, to Budapest: it will leave you with a hint of melancholy, allowing you to travel in the Europe of the past and admiring how it has changed over the last 30 years by crossing the line of the former iron curtain.

We leave for now Eastern Europe to go West: Spain is quietly improving its high-speed network not only by opening a new railway going from Madrid, the capital, to the autonomous community of Galicia last autumn, but also by shortening the time needed to reach Santiago de Compostela. Here you can find
the shrine of St. James, the ultimate goal of the “Camino de Santiago”, which is the 1,000-year-old pilgrimage that gather yearly more than 200 thousand pilgrims.

In Italy, the private operator NTV Italo has served Genoa, connecting it to Naples, following the coastal railway and offering in this way a one-of-a-kind journey.

Trespassing national borders, Trenitalia counterattacked with a twice-daily Frecciarossa (highspeed) Train linking the two European “fashion capitals”, Milan and Paris.

Sadly, sometimes promises are difficult to be kept and projects can be delayed or, worse, cancelled,
due to bureaucratic or economic reasons: it is needless to say that the pandemic is not helping.

The direct train that should have accompanied you from Warsaw to Lithuania won’t happen before
mid-2023, for example. Moreover, a high-speed Allegro train had started to better connect the Russian Federation to Finland last December, but of course, due to the current tragic war every route has been temporarily suspended. The same goes for the direct trains from Przemysl (Poland) to Ukraine.

We do believe in travelling as the truest way of living life, but in such circumstances, we cannot
recommend strongly enough to stay safe and be careful.

So, to wrap it up… you can travel across Europe and visit its major cities with the “eco-friendliest”
means of transportation in existence. Tickets can be adapted according to your economic needs.
You can travel during the night and also avoid long security-related procedures. Plus, you don’t
even have to worry about where to park!

What are you waiting for? Europe and its railways are welcoming you with open arms.

Finding an internship is not always easy for most students. Some even consider it mission impossible. This quest raises many questions: which door to knock on? Which search engine to use? How to apply? The few paragraphs below deliver the best actions to take to find an interesting internship. Of course, this will take up a lot of your time, so consider getting an essay writer to help you with your assignments

Clearly Define Your Goals

Before starting the research, it is important to determine its objectives clearly. For example, sending dozens of applications to companies found randomly in directories is not recommended. By doing so, there will be little chance of being contacted. In this case, what to do?

We must consider several criteria and ask ourselves: is it an observation internship, a compulsory internship, or a short or long-term internship? By analyzing these different elements, the student can move forward. In addition, the young graduate must take the time to define the professional project that fits their personality and background. Making a list of his professional skills, his personal strengths and knowing what you really want will help him considerably to find the training that meets his expectations.

Refine Your Curriculum Vitae and Cover Letter

Is it really necessary to have an impressive CV? This document, written with particular care, will certainly open the doors. Indeed, it is the first image that the company will have of the candidate. It is also an essential selection filter. So you have to make sure it catches the eye. The layout should be clear. All the elements that will be mentioned in the CV are to be taken into account. Nevertheless, it is completely inadvisable to lie and claim to have a qualification that one does not have in the document.

The internship request is always preceded by a cover letter. The latter demonstrates the student’s desire to obtain the internship in question. Therefore, it is necessary to respect a few rules to write it. Whether handwritten or typed, it must be kept in good condition and adapted to each company. Stains, erasures, and spelling errors are to be banned. The same is true for the models offered on the Internet. As for the paragraphs, they are to be distinguished. In general, the structure of the letter includes the header, the introduction, the argument, the call to action, and the conclusion. Furthermore, the person concerned must always keep in mind that their cover letter should make the difference between dozens of candidates.

Define your cv

Find Internship Offers

Internship offers abound. They are also very varied. Specialized sites and those companies are excellent leads. Specialized sites are platforms on which thousands of firms submit their internship offers. That is why many students use it. Note that they are very numerous, and each has its specificities. For example, some sites offer an internship by city or by sector. Others even allow the candidate to submit a CV for recruiters to see. However, we must remain vigilant. Some people just want to scam candidates. And as mentioned above, it is necessary to eliminate the uninteresting offers to select only those which correspond to its criteria.

Some companies’ websites have the “Career” or “Recruitment” section where it is possible to submit a CV. The human resources managers will then consult the latter. But, of course, not all internship offers are communicated on recruitment sites. That is why you need to broaden your horizons.

Go to Job Forums

Trade forums and trade fairs for professionals are also great opportunities to find internships. Indeed, for the student, it will be an opportunity to establish a link with a company of his choice. It will also be the perfect time to stand out and catch the attention of recruiters. It goes without saying that before going to these shows, it is essential to prepare and develop an argument that can convince them. The student will bring many CVs that he will deposit on each stand held by the companies. He will dress appropriately for the position requested. Finding out about the different companies that will be present at the forum in question may be necessary.

Inquire With Alumni, Friends, and Family

One of the best ways to find an internship is to mobilize those around you. Getting information from former graduates and relatives can put the student on the right track. The right people know the training courses they took and the type of internship they need. Do not hesitate to send them a short email presenting the subject of the request and availability. This decision can help to find out about offers that are not displayed publicly.

In any case, it is advisable to plan the search well. To do this, it is recommended to take note of the names of the companies already contacted, their email addresses, and the answers given by the people responsible for recruitment. It will prevent the candidate from sending their application twice to the same company.

Lastly, Create a Profile on Professional Networks

LinkedIn is an ideal showcase for approaching companies. Creating a profile on this platform can ensure perfect visibility. To achieve this, you have to optimize your profile and connect with a list of students doing an internship similar to the student’s aspirations. Also, the profile must be active. A nice image highlighting the candidate with a powerful title will undoubtedly affect recruiters. Take the time to appropriately fill in the “Training” and “Professional experience” fields. Finally, do not forget to publish posts. These will give credibility to the candidate and even allow him to be recommended.

Travel is happiness and incredibly beneficial: it boosts intelligence and development, making our kids more empathetic and helping them adapt to changing situations. However, some parents are sometimes frightened by the idea of traveling with kids and avoid doing so. The book “Are We There Yet ?: Traveling More Responsibly with Your Children” is very useful if you are looking for tips to travel easier with children and to teach kids the principles of responsible travel.

Traveling responsibly is more than just travel: it’s about understanding how we can make better choices when seeing the animals we love, the communities we visit, and the things we buy or visit.

We interviewed the author, Rachel Dodds, and here’s what she told us:

Rachel Dodds and the book Travelling more Responsably with your Children

What has inspired your book?

When I was a new parent I was often told I would have to buy a minivan and stop traveling the way I had for most of my life. I found so many people were nervous about traveling with children but I felt like it was one of the best gifts my parents ever gave me so wanted the same for my daughter. During the pandemic, myself and Richard Butler, who have produced academic books together were discussing how there is a need to reach the ’non converted’… hence the idea!

Traveling is a wonderful opportunity for kids and parents too. What do we have to consider to make travel more sustainable?

We can be more sustainable in many steps of the travel process. From packing less (less carbon) to taking alternative forms of transportation to traveling in offseason … from ensuring our animal encounters are ethical and non harming to ensuring we have a lesser impact on the earth.

The book discusses all steps of the process from planning, to choosing where you go and what type of holiday you choose to packing and even when you get home.

The key thing we want to get across is not to shame someone. We need to encourage parents, grandparents and aunts and uncles to celebrate even the small steps – we are all busy people and so even making one change is a positive!

Can you give us some tips to enjoy our travel with kids?

There are many.. the key one is to plan… if your kids are young, make sure you have snacks on hand which are healthier and avoid the ‘hangries’. If our kids are happy, we as parents or grandparents are also happy.

The second tip is to involve your children, no matter how young or old in the process. Give them buy in – let them choose the restaurant which is local, … the book has so many tips on how to engage your children as well as guide them to make better decisions.

Is there a memorable and sustainable travel experience with kids you suggest trying?

There are so many.. it really depends on what you like and where you wish to go. Exposing your children to new things – be it local food, or encouraging them to learn a few words in a local language – they may not always be perfect but when kids learn something, we as parents also learn!

I remember talking to my daughter about swimming with dolphins when she was four years old. When I asked her if dolphins lived in swimming pools or oceans – she realised how unfair it was to the dolphins…. After that trip – she decided, all on her own, to raise awareness about dolphins in captivity… It was a proud moment for me as a mum!

responsible travel with kids

What do you think is really important to raise resilient and responsible kids?

Raising resilient and responsible kids leads to responsible and resilient adults. We can all improve and no one is perfect but if we all take a step in the right direction this is not only good for ourselves and our children but also the communities we visit and the environment around us.

The book “Are We There Yet ?: Traveling More Responsibly with Your Children” is available also in epub version at the special price of $1.99. A percentage of the profits of this best-selling book will be donated to World Animal Protection

An old stone house, renovated to fully preserve the traditional architectural form and design and provide a special and unique eco-stay. Turrium heritage apartment is an eco-friendly accommodation, just 20 minutes from Split, in Croatia. An article in the Croatian magazine Apartman Plus shows this little paradise for a perfect romantic stay for couples, as well as an oasis of year-round tourism for digital nomads.

Turrium heritage apartment is located in Kastel Kambelovac, in the first row to the sea. The old stone house has been renovated to fully preserve the traditional architectural form and design and provide a special and unique eco-stay. It used to be the home of an old Ashtelan captain who sailed the world’s seas, and today it is a heuristic accommodation facility that has been renovated according to environmental standards. It consists of two studio apartments for two people and a shared terrace with an outdoor kitchen and barbecue.

Barbara Visintin and her family have equipped the house with unique pieces of furniture that are a combination of new and restored pieces of rich history, so they will be happy to tell you all their stories, some of which began in the last century. The interior is dominated by stone and wood, and thanks to the large windows, the whole space is airy and bathed in daylight.

All the decorations are inspired by history and tell the story of the life of the old captain. Here, care is taken to protect the environment and recycle, so natural cleaning and hygiene products are used in the house, and the owners also plant indigenous plants.

In the main season, the charming apartments are ideal for couples looking for a break from everyday life, and out of season, they are most often booked by digital nomads. Quiet location, reasonable prices, proximity to Split, availability of public transport, and numerous opportunities for recreation are the main motives why guests choose accommodation in this location.

“Kaštela is a town that lives 365 days a year, and not only during the main season. Our guests want to get to know how the locals live and can enjoy long walks or cycling along the coast all year round. This is
real tourism 365 in harmony with the local community “, says Barbara.

They purposefully connect their eco-friendly accommodation facility with the sustainable touristic offer of the destination, so they recommend their guests a visit organic producers as well as purchase indigenous Kastela souvenirs. Guests can enjoy the tasting of organic wines from the Bedalov winery, the purchase of organic olive oil OPG Pensa as well as the purchase of the original model of ancient ships Marin Bedalov.

Ekogost first chooses the destination in which he wants to stay, and only then chooses an ecological accommodation facility within it. Barbara emphasizes that there are not enough innovative digital contents in Kaštela to single out and purposefully promote a sustainable tourist offer. Therefore, as private renters, they are left to themselves and their own engagement to create a unique offer.

The efforts of Barbara and her family were also recognized by Split-Dalmatia County, which awarded the Turrium heritage apartments the “Ambassador of Tourism” certificate. This certificate proves to guests the quality of the accommodation facility and knowledge of natural and cultural-historical heritage in the destination.

Hiking trips are great fun! Not only will you get to visit many impressive countries and areas such as San Juan Pie de Puerto when signing up for a Camino Frances. But you also get to explore areas that are hard to get to without hiking, enjoy being outside and it’s great for your fitness. There are many hikes that you can sign up for, from a day hike to a couple of days and even a week or longer. Depending on your ability and your enjoyment of hiking, certain ones are more suited to different levels of ability and interest. So what should you consider before going on a hiking trip? Below we look into four considerations.

Make sure you have enough time

We touched on it above but the main thing to consider when booking a hiking trip is the amount of time you have. Remember, the distance you walk in front is potentially the distance you will need to travel back if you are doing a round trip. If you are signing up for a hiking trip online, they should give you an indication of how long the hike will be, the distance, and the altitude you will be hiking at. If you are going to do your own hike, then read up on the reviews of people who have attempted the one you are doing as that will give you a good indication of the time it will take.

Take care of your feet

This one may be a little obvious but when on a hike you will be on your feet for a long time. The last thing you want to do is have your shoes rubbing or blister coming up on your toes. These can be extremely painful and ruin the hiking trip altogether. Before the trip gives your toenails a cut and purchase some wool-blend socks as these should help.

Check the weather conditions

Some hiking trips like these Camino de Santiago can last five, six, or even seven days. That is a very long time if you’ve packed badly and don’t have the correct equipment due to guessing the wrong weather. 14 days before, check the weather and start to pack accordingly, you can keep an eye on it as the trip comes nearer. You would rather be prepared and have too much than fail to be prepared. When looking up the weather, this can help you make an estimate of what the trail conditions will be like.

Read up on local regulations

If you are travelling abroad for your hiking trip, remember the rules may not be the same as the local hikes you may be used to. Therefore, before heading on your trip do your research on the local regulations that you should be following. Most will have their rules on their websites but if not, follow the rules you would normally follow.

Wedding hashtags have emerged as one of the most popular fads of the 21st century. While an ordered wedding registry matters, as does a perfect piece of music for your nuptials, a wedding hashtag that is well thought out maybe just as important.

Preparing for a wedding involves quite a bit of smart and strategic planning. Romantic and sweet wordplay may suffice to get your point or message access when devising your wedding hashtag.

Funny puns can also get the job done, depending on the mood you wish to convey or the theme of your special day. Here, we will focus on how to show off your wedding hashtag creatively so that you will become the belle of the ball.

Why is it crucial to have a wedding hashtag?

Implementation and planning often go hand in hand, and a wedding is no exception. Digital trends also need to be factored in when you are planning your auspicious event. Every momentous, well, moment, that a person experiences often begins with an exciting story to tell.

Short is sweet, however, so a smart hashtag will summarize your epic tale in just a few characters. However, if you want to stand out then your hashtag has to be truly unique.

How to Come Up With an Attractive Wedding Hashtag

Creating the ideal hashtag will take some inspiration. If there are no obvious rhymes, or if you need to work with a long last name, then your task will be that much more difficult. If you are having trouble then why not consult with a marketing expert or wordsmith?

If you would rather tackle your project alone then there are a few general rules that most experts recommend when designing an attractive wedding hashtag.

First, you should try and plug in your first names. Also, try and mention your last names if they are not too long or hard to pronounce. Most people love music, so you can showcase your discerning musical tastes by hinting at your favourite tracks or genres.

Romantic comedies are also all the rage, so why not plug in your favourite rom-com of all time while you’re at it. You can also showcase your sensationally superb smarts by adding some alliteration to the mix.

In sum, you need to make your hashtag memorable to get everything off on the right foot. A smart hashtag should serve as an awesome prelude of things to come. You need to personalize your hashtag to make it yours.

You also need to avoid words that are hard to pronounce or cause more confusion than awe.

Ways to Display Your Wedding Hashtag

Most experts agree that displaying your wedding hashtag on your wedding welcome sign is a safe bet. By doing so, everyone who enters will be able to quickly and easily read it, which will help generate some viral buzz very quickly.

Decor vignettes can also be used in order to display your wedding hashtag. Simply place a few vignettes on the tables so that people will be able to read your hashtag without needing to put in much effort.

Another easy win: include your wedding hashtag with your ceremony program – everyone at your wedding will be reading it!

Don’t forget about the wedding booth either. Place your wedding hashtag on a table near your wedding photo booth, so the Instagram snaps of your guests can be properly tagged.

Also, while wood signs may be considered classy, and acrylic may also get the job done, a neon sign literally pops out at the audience. Many online brands actually specialize in neon signs that are completely personalized for their clients. It’s helpful to enlist the help of a pro in order to enjoy a light fixture that is 100% customized for your special day. Moreover, you can take advantage of the open wall space that is located behind your live band or disc jockey.

A custom board or neon sign will fit the bill nicely, as virtually all of your guests will check out the band or DJ at some point during the festivities.

In sum, a wedding venue display matters. A good-looking banquet hall can make or break the wedding experience for your guests, so creating the ideal ambiance and a catchy wedding hashtag should be one of your top priorities.

If you are having any issues then working with a marketing or brand guru can help make your wedding truly memorable and fun for all your guests.

What is the best way to share your wedding hashtag?

Every social media post that you make should integrate your wedding hashtag. At the very least, all of your wedding-related posts should incorporate your wedding hashtag so that it will be ingrained in the minds of your readers.

Furthermore, you should also add your hashtag to your wedding website. It wouldn’t hurt to include it with your wedding invitation too. The end goal is to make your wedding hashtag as easily recognizable as possible, so maximum exposure is the name of the game.

In fact, you can even use your wedding hashtag as your engagement photo prop as well. You only get married once, so do not hesitate to flex your creative muscles. Go big or go home, as they say.

The One Above All

For many people, their wedding is one of the greatest days of their lives. If you want to make your wedding stand out then you should use your hashtag to keep track of all of the photos that are taken by your guests and bridal party along the way.

Social media images can be captured via a bespoke wedding book which will only take a few minutes to make but can help create lasting memories.

The comments and captions that are left by your guests can also be stored in one convenient place that can easily be accessed whenever you want.

Corporate gifts, but also welfare, gift vouchers, fringe benefits, and incentive plans: there are many choices that a company faces in its relations with customers and employees and as many opportunities to demonstrate its attention not only towards business objectives and the workplace but also towards what happens in the world.

Eco-Sustainable Corporate Gifts

The so-called green movement is not something temporary, it is no longer a niche trend. It is the only possibility to combat climate change, to safeguard the planet, our health, and our future. Your business can be at the forefront of this fight by implementing green practices throughout all different business ventures. With eco-sustainable corporate gifts, environmentally friendly welfare, or loyalty programs for your customers that take environmental impact into account, you can do something useful and beneficial for the whole community.

Why choose eco-sustainable corporate gift vouchers

Why choose eco-sustainable corporate gifts

Eco-sustainable corporate gift vouchers therefore represent something concrete for the future of the planet, but also a winning move in terms of corporate communication and the retention of employees and customers. It is a simple gesture to share your environmental commitment, to actively involve stakeholders in a positive story, to stand out and increase the reputation of your brand.

Sustainable products are all those that, throughout their entire production and trade cycle, protect the environment with minimal or even neutral impact thanks to CO2 emissions compensation projects. From raw materials to packaging and disposal, they are therefore natural and eco-friendly. For your eco-sustainable corporate gifts you can therefore aim for all those objects that respect these characteristics, always paying attention to greenwashing, or aim for something different than a material object, something even more sustainable and appreciated: a green experience.

Ecobnb’s proposals (explained in detail at this link) are:

  • ecological: you can choose between gift vouchers for eco-sustainable stays, or for the local planting of trees.
  • flexible: those who receive gift vouchers for a green experience or stay can choose when and where to use it among thousands of beautiful possibilities.
  • new: it’s not the usual gift that ends up in the drawer, but an original and innovative gift voucher that appeals to those who receive it and is good for the environment.

It’s useful for those who receive it and beneficial for the Planet. This year the perfect Christmas gift is an experience in harmony with Nature. You can have it with the Ecobnb and Alpine Pearls Gift Cards!

Christmas is approaching and often brings with it a good dose of consumerism: useless purchases, excesses, waste, and superfluous gifts, which are soon stored in some drawer … at the expense of the environment. This is why this year under the Christmas tree, cannot be missing different and eco-sustainable gifts, dematerialized and less polluting presents.

If finding an original and ecological idea for Christmas may seem like a difficult task, Ecobnb gift cards solve the problem. In a few clicks, in fact, you can create a personalized gift-card valid for an eco-friendly and unique experience. You can choose the amount you prefer and you will receive the green gift card in less than a minute via email.

gift good for you

The recipient of the Ecobnb gift card can use it at will from among thousands of unique experiences in contact with nature: from the night in a tree house to a vegan lunch in an organic farm; from the weekend in a yurt tent to a holiday for the whole family in a bio-hotel in the mountain; from the night under the stars in a transparent tent to trekking with alpacas; from the night in an igloo (made by real ice, of course!), to the holiday in an ancient village recovered in an eco-sustainable way … a myriad of unique experiences among the most eco-friendly accommodations in the world.

christmas gift card alpine pearls

If you are looking for a special gift for those who love the mountains, from this year there you can find the new Perle Alpine gift card.

Those who receive it can discover dozens of green alpine destinations in Europe (Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, and Slovenia), committed to promoting sustainable mobility and ecotourism. So you can enjoy a slow tourism experience in the Alps.

In the Alpine Pearls, you can get to your destination by train or public transport and then move around by e-bikes, e-cars, horse-drawn carriages, snowshoes, etc. Staying in the beautiful Perle Alpine eco-chalets and eco-friendly hotels you will discover that living a carfree holiday is relaxing, healthy, and fun!

Considering that for each night spent in an eco-friendly hotel (compared to a traditional one) around 8 kg of CO2 emissions are saved – the equivalent of 295 new trees planted – giving a green travel gift card is good for all, including the Planet!
