Take a break and relax on our organic and child-friendly farm with premium gastronomy, located in breathtaking Alpine paradise in the heart of Triglav National Park.
''Pri Plajerju'' eco-farm is located Trenta Valley in the heart of the Triglav National Park. It is situated at the end of a little-frequented road near a forest and the Soča River. We are specialized for organic food production and child-friendly farm. The majority of food we use for breakfast and evening meals are ecologically grown and produced. The menus are premium, all traditional from our grandparents and will surprise and delight you.
We offer our guests breakfast and dinner: homemade bread; bread rolls; dried meat products made from mutton and pork produced on the farm, as well as venison dishes; zaseka (minced lard) spread; cheese; cottage cheese with ‘čompe’ potatoes (a local potato variety); homemade pastries; vegetables and fruit. Meals are served in the farmhouse kitchen, which has a small library and a play corner for children.
The house has three apartments, and there are two independent small houses that you can rent. You can also sleep on the hay. All of our apartments are named after sheep earmarks to honor the tradition of sheep and goat breeding in the Trenta Valley. Their names are Stopinja (Footprint), Klanfa (Staple), Rez (Cut), Jamca (Pit) and Sprano (Split).
Behind the house, there is a small play area for children, sports equipment and a vegetable garden. The younger members of the family – Matevž, Jakob, Gregor and the youngest, Maruša, will happily show you the wonders of living on a mountain farm that is home to Jaki the donkey, Pika the mare as well as sheep and their lambs, pigs, chickens, Medo the dog and some cats.
Small alpine wellness center is available to you, with an infrared sauna, a shower, and a wooden sauna, where you can relax and enjoy the calming effects of the bubbling water.
The beautiful turquoise Soča River with its winding riverbed and natural pools, the unspoilt natural environment and numerous Karts streams are some of the things that give the farm and its surroundings their uniqueness.

Beautiful location and Stanka was the perfect host, our family of five had a wonderful time.

This is a fabulous place to stay, surrounded by high mountains but located in a very easily accessible location just outside the village of Trenta. We stayed in a very comfortable apartment with a comfortable bed and lovely balcony with seating area. The apartment was well equipped and we made some meals there. The food provided by the farm was also exceptional, taking account of our individual needs (1 vegetarian and 1 allergic to garlic), and we enjoyed several evening meals and breakfasts, usually sitting outside on a terrace with wonderful views. The farm was run by a lovely family who went out of their way to make sure that our week long stay was special and provided us with eggs and a jar of jam for when we wanted to make our own breakfasts. Thank you very much Stanka and Marco, wish our stay could have been longer.

The renter made a mistake on the dates, so the appartement was only availaible for 2 of the 3 nights we had booked. They arrange us something near for the first night, but made us wait around 40minutes before coming to tell us and they wanted us to cover the difference in cost for the other appartement they chose.
The breakfast was not included contrary to what was written in this site when we booked. This is a 9 euro by night by person différence that we bargained at 50%.
Otherwise, the appartement and the food was very nice and the view on the mountains is amazing. The staff was very kind and eager to point us to the different things to see in the region.
